Atoka Railroad Adventure Closes After a Decade of Joyful Memories

Atoka, TN – Atoka Railroad Adventure, a cherished family-friendly amusement center in Tipton County, has announced its closure, effective immediately. The beloved attraction, founded by the late Jimmy Brown as a tribute to his wife Ola, brought joy to countless visitors over the past decade.

Jimmy Brown, a United States Navy veteran and a pioneer in the Mid-South electronics industry, launched Atoka Railroad Adventure in 2013 following the passing of his wife and best friend, Ola. The park was envisioned as a celebration of Ola’s wit, kindness, and love for entertainment—qualities that inspired her family and community alike.

A Tribute to Love and Legacy

Atoka Railroad Adventure was more than just a destination; it was a deeply personal project that embodied the Browns’ life together. Each element of the park was meticulously designed to reflect cherished memories:

Jimmy Brown worked tirelessly to maintain the park, even after his passing in August 2023. His family has since shouldered the responsibility of continuing his legacy, but with great consideration, they have decided to cease operations.
